About Us

The Du Quoin State Bank was chartered and opened for business on April 7, 1915, with $50,000.00 in capital.  Today, the Du Quoin State Bank main branch is still in the original building located in the heart of downtown Du Quoin.  While the building has remained the same pilar in the community and our outward appearance is iconic, we have continued to grow throughout the years to serve our communities in Southern Illinois with a total of five locations, holding more than $150 Million in assets.  The Du Quoin State Bank operates two conveniently located drive up facilities.  One of which is in Tamaroa, built in 1983 and the second being the Du Quoin Southtowne Facility built in 1987.

The year 2022 is proving to be one of growth for Du Quoin State Bank as well.  We are excited about the opening of two additional full-service locations to further support the communities in our area.  The facility in De Soto opened in April 2022 and is located on Highway 51 South in
De Soto.  Sesser Illinois will be another new home for Du Quoin State Bank during the year 2022 and is located on Highway 148 in the business district of Sesser.

 Original Branch

Du Quoin State Bank proudly continues to provide Personal, Commercial, and Governmental banking services to Southern Illinois.  Our banks' primary goal as a hometown bank, is to offer superior customer service at competitive prices.
